Great range of lighting options, locker box to lock whilst charging electronics was great, rooms were beautiful with stairs for top bunks which was fantastic. Modern looking and space was quite clean. The meal that I paid for in the restaurant was 10/10 and one of my best meals in the Philippines. View from rooftop bar is very nice.

With a rich mix of influences from Indian, Chinese, Spanish and American cultures, Manila is the vibrant capital of the Philippines and its cultural and economic center. Thanks to the trade with Latin America during the three centuries of Spanish colonization, Manila became an important city, known as the "Pearl of the Orient."
Don’t miss a visit to the Spanish remains in the Intramuros district. Important landmarks in the area are the Malacañan Palace, the City Hall, and the Manila Cathedral.
Rizal Park is a national icon, while the Baywalk promenade is great for enjoying the well-known city sunsets. Ermita and Malate districts are famous for the nightlife, trendy shopping and restaurants, as well as for some luxury Manila hotels. Between the promenade and the districts, its easy to see why Filipinos call Manila “The City of Our Affections,” where the people's love affairs with fashion, music, entertainment and sheer fun are on bright and beautiful display.
Divisoria is a traditional district for local shopping, bargains and typical food. Binondo is the oldest Chinatown in the world.
For hotels in Manila near the airport, Ninoy Aquino International Airport is not far from Makati City.

I was at the Shangri La The Fort for 5 nights and it was way above expectations.
BGC vibe is exceptional.
The airport needs to be upgraded to international standard.

Manila has good food.
Manila has good food. Try halo-halo to help you with the hot weather here
For transport I would recommend booking through ride hailing apps for safer and smoother transactions. Avoid those white regular taxis. You can book Grab for convenient car ride around the Metro, motorcycle option (Move It, Angkas, Joyride) is also common in Manila bec of the traffic. Food delivery is also available in the Grab app with lots of options.
For clothing, the usual H&M, Zara, Nike, etc. is everywhere, for local brands you can try taking home from Bench or Penshoppe which is cheaper and good quality
Airport, make sure to be there earlier since immigration and check in counters can be very long and slow. Can be very traffic going there as well
Avoid walking around sketchy places and neighborhoods especially at night.
BGC, Ortigas and Makati are pretty safe places
Card payment available almost everywhere, except of course on street food and jeepneys/buses/train
Tipping, not mandatory unlike other countries but staff/crew would be glad to accept anything

Metropolitan Manila is a very interesting Asian City.
Metropolitan Manila is a very interesting Asian City. The US Dollar to Philippine Peso exchange rate was favorable to US travelers, so meals, taxis/Grab ride-shares and hotel prices were made more affordable. Tons and tons of restaurants and entertainment options available just about everywhere you go. Spas and massages are very reasonably priced, and so are beauty and nail salons. There are at least 4 major casinos: Okada, City of Dreams, Solaire and Newport (?). Dampas are a must for first time travelers-this is a place where you buy your seafood from a fresh market and take your purchase to a nearby restaurant to have them cooked to your specifications (for a separate fee, of course). Shopping malls are numerous and a great draw for crowds, especially on weekends. Post-COVID major name entertainment is coming back, but still a little on the slow side at this point.

Manila is good for those that wanted to see the city and who loves to shop as it is where you will find the biggest shopping mall in Asia (Mall of Asia). There are also places where you can see and experience the history and culture of the Philippines (Visiting Intramuros and Luneta for example).

Manila has some places to visit and see.
Manila has some places to visit and see. However three weeks for me was too long. Take a tour that helped and was fun. Plenty of nice rooftop bars and eateries. Do stay at a 5-star hotel, my recommendation is City Garden Grand with a rooftop bar called Fire- top any thing less was a huge disappointment. The WI-FI and internet is terrible. I was not able to use my cell phone until I was back at the hotel using WI-FI, Verizon sent me a bill for 823.00 dealing with that now.
I played golf and the pubic golf courses along with a set of 20 year old golf clubs rentals was terrible, but a great experience was had learning about some history of the surrounding areas. I travel to a couple of places to meet a friend and it was okay, too far to Travel for what you get.
Nice hotel. Location was good (it is near to the airport and also close to a lot of malls in shopping centers) it is in walking distance of Terminal 3 (international flights). You might not get the "Manila experience" as the airport is outside of the city center but other than that the hotel is like nicely located.
If you are hoping to bridge a longer layover this's a perfect hotel to stay in it has a gym pool and some facilities and there are some casinos and malls to go to.
This is my second time staying here! Affordability and convenient location to NAIA Terminal 1, are two of major benefits of Manila Airport Hotel. I had a small room which was to be expected, but I was fine with that. Accessible to public transportation is another plus. I thought the room was adequately clean and comfortable. I also liked the Wifi and the hot shower. I highly recommend this hotel for people on a budget and are satisfied with basic amenities.
Proximity from the airport. Given that I have my senior parents with me, upon arrival in Manila, I opted to have them in a nearby hotel rather than endure Manila's traffic straight off from their flight.
We were there for 3 days. Since we stayed during the start of the holy week, having to do a 3min walk to the church helps so that we don't get heat stroke. The Newport Mall is also a few blocks away.
Breakfast is good, there is variety as well daily.
A lovely, lovely hotel, with attentive staff, great rooms and a wonderful swimming pool. It's in a part of town that is close to many interesting sites: Intramuros, National Museums, Rizal Park, Chinatown/Quiepo Market. I had a room overlooking Manila Bay. The area does not have the sterile skyscrapers, clean streets and fancy shopping malls that you find in Makati, but is instead full of the life of the city.
Rooms, and restaurant were good. Staff all very polite and extremely helpful especially at check-in and check-out (early morning check-in and check-out). Only stayed for an overnight layover, but would definitely stay again for a longer time next visit. Staff was very helpful in arranging transportation from Savoy to airport. Recommend this hotel to all visiting Manila.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Such a great experience !!!
I have only positive memories about this hotel.
Friendly service, clean and big rooms, very delicious breakfast and amazing pool and the fitness center. Also, there is a free parking if you drive the car. There is everything in this hotel to enjoy the trip to Manila. I recommend this place for everyone and will stay here again when return back to Manila.
Great value for money. It was probably half the cost of its competitors but in a better location. The customer service and access to parking made my stay very comfortable. The best part was the location. I will rebook at this hotel next time I'm in Manila because it's close to Greenhills, Makati and Quezon City. A bonus was the generous cocktail hour, upbeat vibe and decor.
The hotel is located in the prestigious Makati district. Shopping centers and supermarkets are within walking distance, there is a party street nearby. The rooms fully correspond to the description and photos, great staff ready to help! I recommend it to everyone for the duration of small connections in Manila, half an hour to the airport without traffic jams!
Good AC. Fridge inside the room. Bars and entertainment spots in walikg distance.
Beds are spacious and comfy.
Ample rooms with a high ceiling (which i like against the new fancy hotel rooms which are tiny space and low ceiling).
I like their historic relationship to the nearby AyalaTriangle, which was the runway of former Manila Airport, in the 1930-ies.
Located in Makati, Manila, this place is easy to get to via taxi from the airport as well as to places for food and shopping. There's quite a few shops around the area that are not long to get to such as Starbucks, Chowking etc. It's quite a modern looking hotel with two entrances and an exceptional looking aesthetic.
The Red Planet in Manila Bay is a more upscale Red Planet hotel. I liked the added desk, chair, layout and the room seemed more spacious. The location is great because you are right in the heart of the beehive with plenty of sites to see, great transportation, malls, and the US Embassy across the street.
Very near to airport, able to access free transport van going to runway manila- staff was very nice to accomodate us. This is our 3rd time staying just because of location and amenities around the hotel.
